ITW Techflow first originated as Techflow Pty Ltd which was formed in Western Australia in April 1984 as a 1/4 turn specialist valve & control company with engineering skills necessary to service the oil & gas sector both on-shore & off-shore and the associated downstream processing plus the mining industry throughout Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.  

Techflow was acquired in May 1997 by SRL (Siddons Ramset Limited) and was merged with Austex Supply in June of that same year to trade in conjunction with that company as AustexTechflow. In 1998 the group purchased DeZURIK of Australia based in Sydney .

In June 2000 the company became a part of the Illinois Tool Works (USA) Group who have world wide sales in excess of US$10.0 billion. On the 1 st December 2003 AustexTechflow became a division of ITW Australia Pty Ltd and was renamed ITW Techflow. ITW have a strong commitment to the international and Australian market and their "Trade Focus" and "Vision Statement" are based on maintaining an unwaivering commitment focussed on satisfying their customers needs with high quality products and services.

All products are manufactured by third party accredited ISO 9000 companies and are supplied with the relevant documentation. In addition ITW Techflow has security password controlled engineering web-sites enabling clients full access to GA drawings, sizing programmes, and maintenance manuals.
